O dia 13 de julho é considerado o Dia Mundial do Rock no Brasil. Esta data foi escolhida por coincidir com a realização do Live Aid, um megaevento realizado em 1985 que reuniu gigantes do gênero na época e que visava arrecadar fundos para ajudar a erradicar a fome na Etiópia. No mesmo dia em 1962, por sinal, também foi fundada a banda The Rolling Stones.
